Roamaya's verification process ensures that every Host on our platform is genuine, trustworthy, and capable of delivering safe, quality experiences. This page explains how verification works and what you need to get verified.
1. Why Verification Matters
- Traveler trust: Verified badges give travelers confidence in booking with you.
- Platform visibility: Verified hosts receive higher placement in search results.
- Access to features: Certain features (staged payments, higher capacity trips) require verification.
- Safety: Verification helps Roamaya maintain a safe community for everyone.
2. Verification Levels

- Common rejection reasons: blurry document photos, name mismatch, expired ID.
5. Maintaining Verification
- Verification is reviewed annually. You may be asked to update expired documents.
- Verification can be revoked for policy violations, safety incidents, or sustained low ratings.
- If your ID documents change (e.g., name change), update them proactively through the dashboard.
6. Data Privacy

- Verification documents are accessible only to the Roamaya Trust & Safety team.
